The Vipava Valley is a dramatic corridor of wind, stone and sun. The Bora wind sweeps through the valley, drying the grapes and sharpening the wine’s energy, while warm days bring aromatic depth. The soils here are not anonymous: Vipava flysch, limestone, marl and river-shaped valley soils give the wine its texture, freshness and quiet mineral depth.
